  1. Hello David!

You mentioned in your blog that you hope to become a paid firefighter. Does that mean you are currently a volunteer firefighter? What are you studying at Kaplan and what to you hope to do upon graduation? Any thoughts about this week’s relaxation exercise?

  2. Hello David,

Thank you for your service! I have 3 children in the military. My son just left for Afghanistan, My daughter is in the National Guard - reserves, and my middle daughter will be going to San Antonio for health services in the Army after graduation from OSU.
It must be difficult to adjust and relax after 8 years of service. Did the relaxation exercise help you?

  3. Thank you for your service to our country and it’s nice to “meet” you. When you came home, especially after being shot at did you have any issues relaxing? What do you find is a successful relaxation technique for you?

Do you firefight now? What degree are you currently pursuing? I look forward to getting to know you and the rest of our classmates throughout the rest of the nine weeks in this course.
